Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Predictive Analyst to become an integral part of our analytics team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in facilitating data-driven decision-making by developing and sustaining predictive models that enhance underwriting, pricing strategies, claims management, and overall business initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Design and uphold advanced predictive models employing statistical and machine learning methods to support underwriting, pricing, and claims management.
- Perform extensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the insurance data.
- Verify the precision, reliability, and robustness of predictive models, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Thoroughly document modeling methodologies, underlying assumptions, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with data engineers to uphold data quality, completeness, and consistency for modeling applications.
- Tackle missing or incorrect data through effective cleansing techniques.
- Engage with cross-functional teams, including actuaries, underwriters, claims specialists, and IT, to translate business requirements into actionable analytics solutions.

- Establish processes to monitor model performance and propose modifications as necessary.

- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and assist in preparing requisite documentation for regulatory submissions.

- Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering their professional growth.
Required Skills
- Proficient in advanced statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SAS) and data manipulation tools (e.g., SQL).
- Extensive knowledge of complex predictive modeling techniques (e.g., regression analysis, machine learning algorithms) and a proven track record of implementing innovative methodologies.
- Strong grasp of property and casualty insurance principles, products, and industry trends.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
